On Friday, 27 October we will VISIT WITH THE SECRETARY OF THE NAVY. Meeting with him is from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. The appointment came about through personal contact by your President Ben Lines. With the efforts of many and hopefully more, the campaigns to get another ship named Casa Grande is known by The Secretary and others having responsibility for gathering ship naming petitions. Delivery of some will be to him during the meeting for those who have yet to do so.

Since 9/11 (SECURITY) has been intensified. Requirements for all visiting have been sent out via our Family Newsletter by publisher Jerry Lauinger and letter by President Ben Lines. It is important to be aware of the conditions described in the Security sections.
